When reporters ask my opinion on the best microphone to use with audiosync on their laptop, I always recommend the Samson Go-mic. It uses its own sound card, works great with Windows 7 or XP, has no batteries to worry with, and it clips right onto the laptop. And talk about a fabulous recording. If you purchase it from me, you will also get the support you need to help you set it up should you run into any difficulties. Just give me a call. It's a great mic for just $70.

Don't leave home without it!
My good friend, Julie Samford, always the first to find cool stuff, told me about the Boosteroo during an Eclipse training we taught together. I didn't believe such a little gadget like this could have so much power, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Now that I'm being stalked daily by persistent gray hair, my hearing seems to be leaving at the same time. Plug the Boosteroo into your laptop, plug your ear phones into the Boosteroo, and hear those answers while editing that you didn't hear while on the job. No batteries to deal with. It's powered by your 2.0 USB port or you can plug it in the wall if you don't have an extra port. $49 goes a long way.
